Why a blog?
As an assignement for my subject New Media, we have been briefed to start a blog. So, this is the start of that blog - DUH!
However, as we are doing some subjects like Innovation, which includes concepts like design thinking and systemteic thinking, and Brand Stategy, which inludes brand blueprints & different analyses (to name but 2), it made me realise that I can use all those things in one to create this blog and give it something to be worthy of a read! Things that can help break those gripes down to the basics.
Well thats the theory anyway!
So what is this blog going to be about?
This blog is for any, some and all the gripes or problems I and anyone else see's or hear's of day to day. Its also for things we may use day to day that I or anyone else feels could be better, re-designed & even re-invented!
from little things that you wonder 'why they are the way they are' to 'how does this public service even stay in business'.
Of course there will also be a bit of this and a bit of that thrown in, like current affairs, adverts, business punting and other fun stuff!
Method behind the madness?
Much like Gripe Water gets rid of gripes for babies, so we need a gripe water to help us daily with things that may be annoying us.
Same with the silly daily items, services & products we may use, that we feel could be made better.
With this blog, I hope to help answer those day to day gripes & confusions that I, personally have come across , read about, heard about either on the radio, TV or friends or recieved from people on by comments on this blog or over email.
The idea being that I too have a bitch and moan perhaps, but also try to find a possible resolution, solution & even a piece of mind for myself or whoever it may be annoying.
Check back daily for new gripes, answers and comments on the day to day things that you may not have thought annoying, or even never use but realise can be changed and or need to be sorted out!
Mail your gripes, questions, confusions, pictures and things you may have seen to seanstack@me.com and I will look into them and answer them asap!
As mentioned above, of course there will also be a bit of this and a bit of that thrown in, like current affairs, adverts, business punting and other fun stuff! Its not all about things that are broke or in need of a change!
Oh and i will also be posting my adverts of the day everyday (tv, print, radio or online adverts).
